Rectification AirforcesMonthly magazine:

W
In the march AFM we participated in a large article about Harrier Carriers. Italian Mr. Carlo Servi, criticises us in the april
AFM about the fact we should have written the GIUSEPPE GARIBALDI is an amphibious assaultship. This ofcourse is not the
fact. It concerns a publishers editorial mistake, our original article was edited firmly. In our articles we wrote originally:
WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

' The ship was designed in the class of the British Invincible, or US Navy Tarawa class amphibious assault ships and only capable to embark fixed wing aircraft with Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) capacity like the Harrier. '

We compared Garibaldi with the UK 'Invincible' or a 'Tarawa class' ship, to give readers a general idea.
AirForces Monthly printed accidently:

' The carrier was designed as an amphibious assault ship in the US Navy Tarawa class. '

Ofcourse we regret this redactional mistake, but mistakes can be made however.
Mr. Carlo Servi did not respond on our calls unfortunately as we would have liked to explain the matter to him.
We higly honour the Italian Pilots, we regret this mistake in which we had no part of.
